We are looking for a growth-focused Florist Retail Manager to drive staff development, business growth, and floristry standards in our Upper North Island floristry teams. Excellent retail sales and staff management experience is the recipe for success!

What you'll be doing:

• Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role is responsible for our florist supply and service in a number of supermarket outlets across the Upper North Island. This means remotely managing a team of retail staff and overseeing all end-to-end staffing functions including staff planning, recruitment, rostering, training, development, performance management with the goal of achieving excellence in terms of profitability, customer relationships, and engagement.

Days & Hours of work:

• This is a permanent, full-time Tuesday - Saturday role but we require flexibility to adapt the roster when reasonably required to meet business need. You must be able to commit to working during our key event seasons - Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of staff and multi-site retail management experience.

• Excellent sales skills and proven record of achieving targets.

• Floristry, floral retail, or visual merchandising experience required.

• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to understand financial reports and KPIS to drive improvements.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage, motivate and develop high-performing teams. This includes experience taking performance management action when required.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• A team player with personal values of loyalty, honesty, and diligence.

• Confidence using a computer.

• A full and current drivers' license.

• A relevant tertiary qualification in business, retail or a related discipline is an advantage but not required.
